Composition and complementary modules

Use this guide for modules that complement banners, featured products and editorial guides. Choose the page in the top selector and check where the editor offers Add section. A module existing in the theme does not make it available on every page. See Organize pages.

These are featured areas with images and content blocks, unlike a carousel of multiple slides. Edit media in the section; headings, text and buttons may belong to internal blocks. Check the tree before looking for a field in the wrong section.

ContentLeft/center/right alignment, gap 0–50 px, padding 0–120 px, text color and link.Same content and spacing groups, with a two-image composition.
Image overlayEnable Transparent background to reveal color and opacity 0–100%.Same control; it overlays the photo rather than removing its background.
MotionNone, fade, slide up/down; depth effect when scrolling.Same animation and depth options.

Viewport height is not a fixed pixel measurement. A photo may be cropped to fill the area; test the specific mobile image and long text. The section link and button links are different controls. Replace example text and do not use animation to convey an essential instruction.

Category hero offers a general image, separate mobile image, the image registered for each category, width and padding. With category images enabled and available, they take priority over the general desktop image. The section mobile image is shared, rather than a different mobile image registered for each category. Without a valid image, the banner may not appear. The section has no internal blocks and is limited to one instance.

The Page header differs from the logo/menu header. It presents page context with width, padding, background and text. It has no blocks and is limited to one instance. Category names and page content remain tied to their respective records.

Text editorial combines general content blocks with alignment, background, text color, width, gap 0–50 px and padding 0–120 px. Use it for brand presentations, headings, messages and calls to action with buttons.

Custom arranges general blocks allowed by the theme. It offers vertical/horizontal direction, a different mobile direction, alignment, width, gaps, padding and colors. “Custom” is not a free HTML/JavaScript editor and does not accept every block from another section. Internal groups have their own controls; selecting a group is not equivalent to selecting each child.

In both, Page uses global width and may disable local horizontal padding. For text lists, editorial cards and image/video with text, see Visual and editorial content.

Defines width, padding 0–120 px and background. Enable Divider line to reveal line color. Without a line, it retains the spacing area. It has no blocks and does not register content.

This is an auxiliary header section. It can contain announcements, social links, contact, languages, menus and icon/text groups. The limit is four direct blocks, with up to three section instances; menus and icon/text groups allow up to two of each type, and the other types one each. Limits combine: the maximum of every type cannot be used simultaneously.

On mobile, choose In header or Inside menu. Controls include width, gap 0–48 px, icons 12–28 px, vertical padding 0–32 px, horizontal padding 0–120 px, separate mobile spacing and colors. Social links, contacts, languages and menus depend on platform data and their corresponding block. See Header.

Main sections on these pages have specific responsibilities and structural restrictions. They are not interchangeable home module presets. The editor does not configure checkout, payment methods, shipping rules or account permissions through a visual block.

Check the selected page, area, section and block. Then check whether an option depends on a switch, a block limit has been reached or the module uses catalog data. A hidden field is not evidence of failure. Do not remove a section to recover its data: adding it again creates a new composition.

The partner reference lists the 14 global panels, 55 sections and 101 block types in this base, with declared options, ranges and conditions. It is a configuration reference; browser checks must consider the installed version and actual store data.
