Getting started
Understand the new editor and its comparison with legacy themes before you start customizing.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- A Nuvemshop store with access to its administration panel.
- The Zenit theme installed in the store (version for the new editor, also called Brand Editor).
Buy the theme and sign in for the first time
Section titled “Buy the theme and sign in for the first time”The official purchase channel is the Zenit page in the Nuvemshop Theme Store.
Before opening the editor, check which user is signed in. If you are using the access of the partner who created the store, sign out and sign in with one of the users listed above.
Initial Zenit composition
Section titled “Initial Zenit composition”Zenit is a theme for the Nuvemshop visual editor. Its consolidated initial composition is distributed in the base Clothing demo and uses the structure reviewed in the editor, with example images and text for customization.
The home page includes a hero, store information, eight categories, three product showcases, three promotional banners, three editorial cards, an image with text, a message strip and three testimonial spaces. The footer includes an independent newsletter, institutional information, menus, contact details, payment and shipping methods, social networks and legal information.
On the product page, the description appears below the product details, followed by testimonials and recommendations. Price, WhatsApp and sticky purchase controls use the initial configuration demonstrated by the theme; their display also depends on the store’s data and available features.
Default templates do not include disabled sections or blocks. Products, categories, payment methods, shipping, store identity and registered content continue to come from your own store. Product showcases use the store’s new arrivals, featured and sale collections. When no products are registered, the theme displays example products; with an existing catalog, empty collections may be hidden outside the editor.
The initial configuration uses DM Sans headings, Thick and rounded icons, circular categories and a light gray promotional panel with 10 px corners. In featured categories, size can be set in pixels or by the visible quantity on desktop and mobile. The options remain editable through existing controls.
Initial text is provided in Portuguese. Configure and validate other languages in the editor before making them available in the store.
Before making the store available, replace example text and images, select products and categories and enter real testimonials. Examples do not configure free shipping, coupons, installments or return policies. Example testimonials start with five stars; adjust the rating when replacing the content. The initial composition does not include the “View all” button in this section. The aggregate rating and verified customer badge remain empty. Initial presentation text describes the store and its content, without layout instructions.
Example images and mobile layout
Section titled “Example images and mobile layout”Placeholders use local WebP images with a light gray background, diagonal stripes and a centered icon. They appear when no image has been selected yet. Choosing an image in the editor replaces the placeholder with store content.
The composition uses the theme’s approved modules. The product page offers groups with granular blocks to edit its information; proportions, mobile behavior and module presentation follow Zenit. This initial installation does not include a video gallery.
The 54 WebP files replace placeholders at their original paths. The composition does not add new fallback mechanisms to modules that did not have them.
The structure is installed from the theme’s default templates. Existing installations retain their saved settings; updating code does not reinstall defaults. Menus, links, products and contact details must be configured for each store.
Activate the theme
Section titled “Activate the theme”- In the admin, go to Online store → Themes.
- Locate Zenit.
- Click Use theme or Publish, depending on the platform workflow.
