Catalog, search, and filters

The main Products section organizes category or search results. It differs from product showcases: its selection comes from the page and applied filters, rather than a source chosen in a showcase block.

  1. In the new editor’s page selector, open the category or search page available for editing.
  2. Select the main Products section.
  3. Choose desktop and mobile layouts and the product navigation type.
  4. Review the page with real products, including long names, variants, and unavailable items.
  5. Check search and filters in the preview or storefront associated with the design, without changing catalog records just to test appearance.

Search is accessed through the header’s Utilities. Results depend on the catalog and search term. Filters depend on being enabled and on category or filter data being applicable to the set. Not every filter is guaranteed to appear on every page.

When available, check filters and sorting on mobile too. Sorting changes how the set is presented; it does not replace product data entry.

When filters are applied, remove them to compare the same category or search. Without filters, check product publication, category, and search term. A search with no results may display suggestions or featured products; those items do not become matches for the search term.

Use Theme settings → Product card for images, text, prices, labels, and quick buy, according to the available options. The product page has its own local controls.

Check that images open the correct product, variants match the catalog, and advertised conditions are configured in the platform. See Quick buy and Troubleshooting and support for behavioral differences.

See Product card for options, dependencies and differences by product type.
