Open the new editor
Understand the new editor and its comparison with legacy themes before you start customizing.
Before opening
Section titled “Before opening”For a purchased theme, the first sign-ins require the store’s main user or a user created in the store with full access. The user belonging to the partner who created the store cannot be used for these first sign-ins.
If you are signed in through partner access, sign out and sign in with one of the users listed above. See purchasing and first sign-ins.
How to open it
Section titled “How to open it”- In the admin: Online store → Themes.
- With Zenit for the new editor (Brand Editor) active, click Customize or Edit theme (the label may vary as the platform rolls out changes).
Editor areas
Section titled “Editor areas”Brand identity (global)
Section titled “Brand identity (global)”Settings that apply to the entire store:
- Main colors, typography and button styles
- Cart behavior (ajax, notification, etc.)
- Product cards in listings
They are grouped in the side panel (e.g. Colors, Typography, Cart).
Shared layout
Section titled “Shared layout”- Header — logo, menu, announcement bar and utilities (search, account, cart)
- Footer — institutional menus, newsletter and payment icons
They are edited as section groups shared across all pages.
Page content
Section titled “Page content”Each page type (home, product, category, cart…) has its own sections:
- On the home page, add a carousel, banners, featured categories, products, FAQs, etc.
- On the product page, the main structure is fixed, but internal blocks can be configured according to the theme preset.
Blocks within a section
Section titled “Blocks within a section”Within a section (e.g. a carousel slide), edit blocks:
- Heading, text, button and image
- Reorder, add or remove blocks permitted by the section schema
Preview and publishing
Section titled “Preview and publishing”- Changes appear in the preview in real time.
- Use Save / Publish according to the Nuvemshop workflow to apply changes to the live store.
